  Desert Rose farm Stall is a beautiful oasis en-route to the Cederberg region on the N7. The kids were out of the car and running about, checking out the interesting... read more artwork scattered all over the farm stall's grounds, as soon as we stopped. The staff welcomed us and our dog with open arms and even brought over a dog bowl with fresh cold water since it was a scorcher of a day - this made Paris (dog) very happy! After a long while of checking out the place and taking advantage of the many photo opportunities, we finally sat down for the best sweet and savoury pancakes. They have a lovely playground for the kids and lots of space for running around or simply stretching your legs after a long drive.

  Stopped over for a quick bite: highly recommend the toasted bacon egg & cheese sandwich & pancakes with spinach, feta and mushroom. Yum!

  Great place, clean comfortable. Only downside our breakfast was served cold. Eggs and bacon cold and tasteless. Coffee nice and hot but the tea was ice cold.

  Outstanding, delicious breakfast! Everyone wearing masks, Covid friendly! A very sweet shop, lovely goodies to buy and food excellent!

  Great visit on a day trip out of the city. Lots of cool stuff and local produce to buy in the shop. Much to choose from on their menu in... read more the restaurant. We (three of us) had one each of the filled pancakes. We received two thick filled pancakes in each plate with chips and small salad. We did not expect two pancakes each and took 1/4 of it as a doggy bag as it is quite filling! It is really tasty but I loved the mince and chicken mayo most (we shared one of our pancakes with each other to taste all three on the menu). The size of our hot chocolates were a bit small for the price we paid. I also had a nice big glass of cold milk. Breakfast is only available until 11 but it seems locals can twist the owner's arm to still get it. Other visitors (we) were just told it is not served after 11 although we saw that some locals were served breakfast after we tried to order it. We however still had a great time and enjoyed the pancakes.

  Reasonable place to stop over. Offers the usual fair, milkshakes were generous.
